Item Acceptance Criteria

Condition of items:


The condition of the items being sent to Crazy Richard for consignment should be in the condition you would like to see the item presented online. For items that have cords, manuals, etc. these accessories should be included if possible. Items with batteries should have the batteries removed prior to shipping to avoid corrosion issues. All items being sent to Crazy Richard should be in good saleable condition, clean, free of mold & mildew and any unpleasant odors ie: smoke, etc. (Ask yourself, "Would you buy the item in this condition?")

Conditional Ratings for Items


New: Items that are brand new with tags, or an item in its unopened, original box
Like New: Items that are new without tags, an item that has no evidence of any use, an item that is new but the box has been opened
Used: Items that have been used gently
As Is: Items that have been used, items that may/may not work (for parts only), items that are worn or show signs of use

My item(s) were not accepted. What are my options?

Items Not Being Accepted by Crazy Richard

For those items rejected by Crazy Richard, they will be happy to return those items to you, at your expense. You will have 14 days to reply to the rejected items email notification. Please note that after the 14 day period has elapsed and the Crazy Richard staff is not in receipt of an email from you indicating what is to be done with the items, the items will be donated to a local charity of our choice. (on the Agreement two different boxes to check for items being returned).

(2) For items not accepted, return or donate

Prohibited Items

Live animals, illegal animal products
Human remains or body parts
Hazardous materials (for example: flammable, explosive, corrosive, poisonous, etc.)
Recalled items
Items or listings that promote, support or glorify hatred toward or otherwise demean people based upon: race, age, ethnicity, religion, gender, gender identity, disability, or sexual orientation; including items or content that promote organizations with such views
Items or listings that promote or support illegal activity or instruct others to engage in illegal activity
Items or listings that promote, support or glorify acts of violence or harm towards self or others

Shipping Related Information

Shipping to Crazy Richard and Packing Instructions

All items should be packed carefully to avoid damage during shipment. Items should not be able to move around freely in the package. The use of bubble wrap and/or newspaper should be used to cushion the items to prevent breakage. You will be notified, via email, for any items that do arrive damaged or broken. Crazy Richard is not responsible for items that are damaged during transit.

Order Tracking

For your convenience, after registering on our website, we will email you a prepaid and pre-addressed shipping label for UPS delivery. You can then schedule a pickup or take the box to your local UPS drop off. (link to ups) https:llwww.ups.com/us/en/Home.page
You will be able to track your shipment with the tracking number on the label to verify safe delivery to the Crazy Richard facility. Should your box be lost during transit, UPS covers the loss or damage, at no extra cost, for up to $100.00 on shipments with no declared value.

Returns and Refunds

Our Consignment Policy

Consignment

Crazy Richard Sold It retains the right to accept or decline any item for consignment at our sole discretion and retains the right to display items for sale as we see fit. Crazy Richard Sold It will only accept items that will sell for $39.99 or more based on our research of prior eBay and other ecommerce sales. Crazy Richard Sold It will determine an item’s price according to current sold items on the eBay marketplace and/or other ecommerce sites taking into consideration the demand for the item and its condition. Crazy Richard Sold It will receive a commission of 45% of the gross sale price. Crazy Richard Sold It will absorb all payment and processing fees.

Duration of the Consignment

Crazy Richard Sold It will retain possession of the merchandise until the goods are sold and delivered to the buyer or returned to the Consignor. Consignor agrees to leave the items with the Crazy Richard Sold It for a period of at least 90 days during which time they will be listed for sale. Once an item is for sale, it will run the full course until it is sold. During this time, Crazy Richard Sold It retains the right to reduce the price and accept offers. If Consignor demands return of goods prior to the end of the sale, or the 90-day period, Consignor will pay a withdrawal fee of $15 per item. Consignor may not withdraw an item after it is sold. Should the buyer fail to pay for the sale, the item will be re-listed. If the item fails to sell again within the 90-day period, Consignor agrees to pick up the item. Items not picked up by Consignor within this time frame will become the property of Crazy Richard Sold It.

Terms of Payment

Upon safe receipt by the buyer, Consignor will receive a payment of 55% of the gross sale price. Crazy Richard Sold It will provide an accounting of all sale transactions to the consignor at the time of the payment. All payments are held by Crazy Richard Sold It for 30 days pending any returns of merchandise by buyer or due to any refunds issued to the buyer pursuant to Crazy Richard Sold It policies and procedures. Payments will be made by check and may be picked up in person or mailed to the verified Consignor’s address. It is Consignor’s responsibility to contact Crazy Richard Sold It, by phone or in person, to find out if the items have sold and to arrange for receiving payment. Please check in with us 30 - 60 days after your item is received. Crazy Richard Sold It does not issue checks unless contacted by the Consignor. Consignor can also go online to crazyrichardsoldit.com to view listing and check if item has been sold.

Responsibility for Loss or Damage during Consignment

Crazy Richard Sold It agrees to be responsible for the loss or damage and safekeeping of the items in his possession. Crazy Richard Sold It will insure the items are packed and shipped properly to the eventual buyer. In the event of loss or damage, Consignor will be paid damages to be limited to the same amount as if the item had been sold at the average sale price of a similar item listed on eBay.
